would be nice if all manufacturers represent their guns as in bought from the very store we buy or guns.

let’s see the store bought guns compete to see the accuracy of these guns not some hot rodded gun we can’t buy

You are putting WAY to much emphasis on the gun. How about giving the shooter a little bit of credit. Do you think Ken Hicks set a new US record JUST because he was shooting a Red Wolf? Does that mean if I buy a Red Wolf I will start hitting X's with my bad eye? Would Cladio suddenly suck as a shooter if he were shooting a KRAL? I am willing to bet if Cladio had a Daisy and I had an Impact. Cladio would STILL out shoot me. I give credit to the shooter, not the gun.

Sure you right about the shooter. All I’m saying is shoot the same guns we buy online from and not some hot rodded gun that we the consumers cannot buy. If the manufacturers believe in their guns then taking a bone stock gun out of the box and show us the consumer how good the gun is in the hands of their shooting teams. now that would be fair enough. Fx bought all the big names on YouTube on fx team. Take a out of the box fx gun and lets see them shoot it. A lot of shooters look at videos online and buy what they see if the gun is shooting lights out

It save to say that the guns used in that class have been hot rodded the best of everything. Fx Daystate teams competing against each other. Claudio I believe was on his own won with a Brocock next thing I know we see Claudio at the Daystate booth at the shot show. I believe he is now part of the Brocock/ Daystate team? I’m willing to bet sale of the bantam and it’s varients are selling like hot cakes

Not all the guns (I know for sure several are stock guns, that got top 10s on EBR 2018, with just fine tuning). But Claudio's did not (have a stock gun I mean, I Know him, also know the "Tuner/Gunsmith" that help Claudio...jaja we are a small community). He is very close to AoA (Like Family I believe I read somewhere before he won the EBR), ergo ... DS/BK was the obvious way to go. I Have been competing against him (and talking, he share tips a lot) after he won the EBR, is a great guy (but do not know him much) and I did watch his videos before that too. Where he lives (is like 1.900 miles down south away from where I live) and the places he have access (Tierra del Fuego, Patagonia) are really something (Been there several times) ... the wind conditions are VERY extreme, he deserves been the actual champion! And of course the brands always want to be where the champion is, like you say that is the best selling speech if you know how to take advantage of it , and looks like DS/BK knows!

About time. Fx cronies all there as they do every year lately promoting fx. I too was surprised and jumping for joy when he won. Odds are are stacked towards fx. All manufacturers should have there own team there ie edgun kalibergun taipan Vulcan bsa air arms Daystate Brocock etc say 10 shooters per manufacturer as an example to even out the playing field and not bias towards fx

It has nothing to do with how many of which manufacturer is represented. 

Claudio would have won no matter how many other guys were shooting Brocock.

The year Ted won, he would have done it even if he was the only one shooting FX.

And so on. The winner is not picked at random. You could have 95 out of a 100 guys shooting an Air Arms rifle next year......that doesn't give Air Arms a better chance at winning.

Even out the playing field. They the team Shoot guns we get straight from the retailers

now wouldn’t that be a fair assetment on the quality accuracy of the guns

just a thought. Would you buy a gun after ebr based on the winner? Newbies look at these videos and buy based on what they see

In 2018 I won the Hunter Class in Crosman All American Field Target Shoot and had the highest field target score overall. My brother won the Hunter Class at the 2018 Field Target Nationals in North Carolina and his score was close to the highest in the event. Both of us shooting .177 Daystate Red Wolf rifles pulled from the shelf at AoA. These rifles were not special, meaning they were not assembled special by the factory, nor did they have special barrels installed. They were not special "Team guns"! Just off-the-shelf rifles. So yes, a newbie could confidently purchase the same rifle based upon our shooting performances.

congrats on your win using off the shelf guns from aoa Unfortunately the only event I follow is ebr where manufacturers such as Daystate fx etc and individuals come to compete. Manufacturers have their top shooters and tuners there tuning their guns fact. The winner of Ebr was won with a 22 Brocock sniper I have a sniper 22 I purchased before ebr nice accurate gun but no where near the accuracy of Claudio gun not the shooter two different guns. If the manufacturers have fate in their guns , pull out a brand new one out the box clean the barrel and let the fun begin like your Daystate but that’s not the case in ebr

Of course "off the shelf" is not the case at EBR. EBR is a showcase event. You can bet your last dollar that the manufacturers are going to make sure that their guns are tuned to perfection. Why have air guns that are made with built in tuning options if you don't tweak them?? I think of EBR as an event to see what is possible - I do not expect results like the pro's get. I also think that 99% of people that are going to spend the $$$$ for these high end guns are NOT new to air rifles and are NOT basing their purchase solely on ABC/XYZ gun winning EBR.

Only FX and us consumers getting hurt by this. AoA will continue to sell as many guns as they have and hopefully more. I’m a newbie and I own both FX and Brocock. Bought my first BK before EBR and quickly upgraded to the BK Sniper but not because of EBR. It was the fact that I needed more shots per fill and the outstanding customer service provided by AoA. Loved the gun so much that I purchased another Sniper in .25. Just yesterday I had a major leak in my BK. Brought it to AoA and 10 minutes later my gun was fixed under warranty. The fact that if/ when I have a problem with my FX, I will have to mail it in to FX really makes me look away from FX guns and I really wanted a Wildcat. Suddenly the Daystate has started to look more attractive. Just knowing that I can have my warranty honored locally means a lot to me. Again, i have nothing against FX, I love my ImpactX. It shoots beautiful and has plenty of power for my needs. It was sold to me by AoA and contrary to some people beliefs they didn’t try to sell me one brand over the other. This is what I have personally experienced and what I see every time I walk into AoA. I happen to work across the street from them and I’m there at least every other day. Not sure of the reasons for the breakup but it’s only US and FX suffering the consequences. AoA will continue to do great because of their customer service. Even if they only sold RedRyders, they would still kick butt.

Im going to have to take AoA's side on this and im not a big fan of them. 

I kinda wonder if AoA just got tired of FX having a poorly made overpriced product that was in constant need of repairs. And Im sure that FX was not making it easy in anyway. Then FX releases a statement which really there was no need or reason to. In a way this makes FX look bad. Its as if they had to get the jump on AoA for some reason in an attempt to make it look like it was there fault. Just how I kinda see it.

I just wanted to pipe in. Both sides are being rather vague in their statements. So all we can do is speculate. 

But here's my personal experience. I bought an FX Impact from AOA back in 2015. Did the 6 month wait like everyone else and in Oct., when it came in, I got a call from AOA but they said they couldn't test it for at least 5 days because they were all too busy with EBR. Say what? But what the heck what's five more days when you've waited 6 months. Not happy though. So there's that....

When I received my impact I went outside and shot it. Wow, very quiet at max setting. So I got out the Prochrono and discovered it was shooting .25 cal 25gn pellets at 795 fps. Maxed out. Oh, that's why it's so quiet....haha.

Hmmm, I thought AOA was supposed to set the gun up before sending out the door...... And so there's that too.

Called AOA...... and called, and called, and called, and called. Finally after many days they got back with me. Send it back., they said...so 50 bucks out of pocket right away for shipping.

Got it back 2.5 weeks later and it still was not shooting right. 

At this point I was like to heck with the warranty.......Called Ernest Rowe (this is when he was still on his own....a maverick). Sent it to him and paid more money. But he was a pleasure to work with. But had to send it back to him as it worked for about a month then sudden loss of power.

Turns out to be a poorly designed valve seat which Ernest redesigned to be stronger. Replaced free but still shipping costs to him. A side note....Ernest put out a video of the broken valve seat and he told me later that it came from my gun so he made my Impact a movie star! LOL

So FX was going through design issues at my expense. So there's that.

It shoots good now for a gen 1

FXUSA is much better to deal with even though I had to return defective X liner to them and wait a month to get a replacement.UGH! But this time they sent a prepaid label ....so there's that.

They have also sent some o-rings and small parts to me for free as well..........And I'm sorry but I'm a sucker for that female voice with the Swedish accent on their greeting message!!!!!!

Anyway my point. They both have faults and both could improve but we still don't know what REALLY happened to cause the parting of ways. And they ain't tellin'

I doubt we will ever hear any explanation . Hide and watch. I believe FX has to much character and AoA doesn't want to talk. And I ain't gonna let it affect my shootin. Nuff said!

An interesting development for sure. It's obvious that AOA never bothered to respond to the question of "why" they were unceremoniously dumped by FX so we'll all just have to keep guessing. My major concern is the effect this will have on EBR since FX was THE major sponsor. All of that lip service about "promoting the sport" will be put to the test in October. If we see a vastly reduced FX presence there, I guess we'll have the answer. Maybe I can pump some of the FX guys at RMAC and leak it back here.. LoL

I don't see any evidence of AOA having violated their MAP agreement since the guns are still (months later now) very much represented on their website and the pricing is in line with everyone else. I just bought a gun from AOA today, not an FX, but I wasn't offered anything untoward and I've purchased plenty from them in the past so I'm a known commodity. I would think that if they were trying to undercut other dealers it wouldn't have been limited to just FX.

Well, it's my hope that it gets resolved amicably and AOA get's their authorization back somewhere down the road so that everyone can continue to "grow the sport" productively.
