FX announcement of an announcement

You need to look at the NRL game... you don't need a ton of shots. Typically a lane is 10-14 shots. That is really all you need. Then fill up and you are good to go for the next lane.

You don't need a monster air tank to get those shots
Not really a reason to leave extra air on the table. A 300Bar bottle? Why make a slug slinger that you know is going to burn through air and use the smallest capacity when there are better drop in options? Not bashing, just some constructive feedback. FX has an chance to hit multiple markets with just a few small changes.

Happy to answer your questions:
- 300cc to keep the right distance and length of pull for the stock. Remembering this is built specifically for PRS/NRL shooting where stages are at most 12 shots. The small bottle is all about ergonomics and the ability to still have things adjustable (as you can imaging a straight tank at the back would work, but not really a custom fit rig for precision shooting)
- You'll need to feel the barrel. No flop at all as the pressurized plenum wrapped around 60% of the barrel is like vice grips around the barrel. Incredibly stiff.

All things we carefully considered, and certainly people will pick them up for hunting, put on a sling, etc. But the design was made for precision shooting competitions purely. We know these can start out shooting all the big competition rig .22LRs like CZ, Vudoo, Anshutz, etc. We can get our SDs so low where .22 ammo and their primers can't touch...
Wondering how a delrin type shroud support/clamp would perform inside/under the NV top rail? POI shifts is part of what keeps us PB guys from jumping into high dollar air rigs. And I would love to see an air rig that can out shoot a Vudoo, I dont think we are there yet lol. But I have been wrong before once or twice ;)

Poi shifts. I have 8 FX guns in 6 years never had that happen and I've banged the heck out of them

you could drop in a regular barrel just fine, but if you already have a impact 3 with that barrel i see no reason to get this gun for that as i dont think it would be any better.

The look of this are growing on me, i for sure prefer it over my own Maverick and the Impact guns and other bulpups.
A little Sad FX dont have a trade up program, CUZ in that case,,,,,, you never know.
But selling my Maverick first ASO,,,,,, i can not be bothered with that. it would also be the first time in over 3 decades i have sold anything,,,, last thing i sold was my Amiga 500+,,,, and then it was still sort of relecvant i did not sell it as a relic.

The top rail doesn't look like it touches the barrel. So that should be a non issue. Many of us powder guys use the same system, and there is nothing touching the barrel.

Centercut if you changed the barrel don’t you think this would be good at rmac too? I think you can tether there ? Correct me if I’m wrong
You can only tether in the Big Bore event. The .357 Impacts did OK, but not near the top of the heap (highest finish was 12th). I wouldn't think the new gun Panther in .30 would do any better IF it could get to 150 FPE. Plus, the lower powered guns like that in Big Bore have a hard to calling the shots since they don't really have enough power to ring the target or make it move to verify a hit.

This would have to go through your retailer since we don't sell directly to the individual. It could be a safe bet some dealers buy back rifles and give credit towards a new rifle.:)

Well I dont know about you but my PB dont have a set screw pinching a thin straw barrel into the breech. True free floating is rare in the air rigs since their barrels are loosey goosey. Many are supported by flimsy shrouds that move your zero on the way to the range. Thats one of the reasons many rifles benefit from better/addition barrel bands or supports. POI shifting plagues the air industry because they are still decades behind. Im happy to be around during the early modern days though. Its exciting to see the rapid changes.

As i understand it the 500 mm rifles will all come with the regular liner, but 600 and 700 are strait up slug shooters from the factory and so pack the heavy liners.
This should go for all calibers.

@FX-USA yeah i will have to try and see if i can work out something with my guy even if he dont seem to be the sole seller of FX here in Denmark, though i do think he is the most serious one.
Then again if the new 700 mm heavy barrel take well to my Maverick, it too should become a nice slug shooter, just now in the two heavier weights too.

PS: i must admit that if i can gain 1/4 or 1/2 inch more inch on the groups size with the heavy barrel i for sure will take that too.
