Tuning FX barrel tuner question

Hi All,

Is there anyone on here that has the add-on FX barrell tuner? Looking to establish the weight of the moveable weight part. I've made my own version which is integral to a custom moderator but it seems overly sensitive so I'm wondering if the moveable weight that I'm using s just too much. Cheers.

As i understand it the FX damper are also pretty sensitive when you adjust it, you shoot - adjust - shoot adjust and suddenly you are there, and adjusting again and shooting and BAM you are off the sweet spot.

NO personal experience though !!!!

May want to check the thread pitch, more revolutions per inch will reduce the sensitivity.

If i had access to a lathe and was going to do something like this,,,,, and i would, then yes a fine thread for the tuner would be a must

Did you design this tuner yourself? Is this the same as the FX Tuner?

Good point, I've used a 1mm pitch thread which gives about 1 thou movement for a 10 degree rotation. It would be good to know what the thread pitch the FX tuner uses. Cheers.
