FX Bobcat High/Low Power Settings and Scope Zero's

I have not seen anyone post anything like my process for selecting Hi and Low power settings on a bobcat or any other gun with power settings so I thought I'd share it with all of you. I switch from low to hi power settings quite a lot when pest hunting and I always wondered about my scope's zero when doing so. So, when using JSB Exact 25.4 I did the following: PS I'm shooting a .25 cal
1. Chrono low and hi power, my gun is 665 fps and 930 fps by simply using the power selector.
2. Build a ChairGun Pro model for both muzzle velocities
3. Zero scope while on low power at 35 yards.
4. Switch to Hi Power and shoot the 35 yard target
5. Measure distance from target to shot group impact points, (in my case, my hi power shot group, when shot at the 35 yard target was 2.75 inches high)
6. Use ChairGun Pro (high power settings) to find the distance at which my pellet's arc is 2.75 inches at 35 yards and that distance is now your high power (930 fps) scope Zero. (In my case its about 78 yards.
7. Now when Im in the field, I can switch from low power to high power on my gun and know where my scope's zero points are and I don't have to worry about doping the scope

The reverse might also work but I have not tried it out yet.

yep, been doing the same basic thing ever since I had a SuperSwift with 3 position adjuster. With the FX power adjustments being so repeatable, it is easy to use one scope set up, and work out what it will do at the various power levels. I have an FX 500 that I just recently started shooting on low power,a s I have the .30 to shoot at higher powers, and find that I do just fine if I keep my shots to @45 yards, or under, and then switch to high for the 50+ yarders.

I have a Bobcat .25 as well and have chrono'd all 3 power settings. Using Hawke Sidewinder scope I zero for highest power and just figured out the clicks for zero at each power setting. I have Chairgun Pro range cards for each power setting saved as JPG on my phone.

Power 3 - 898 FPS
Scope Setting - 0 / 0 (verticle / horizontal)

Power 2 - 637 FPS
Scope Setting - U3.0 / 0 (verticle / horizontal)

Power 1 - 510 FPS
Scope Setting - U8.0 / 0 (verticle / horizontal)

Power 3 and 2 are dead accurate. But with Power 1 setting the pellet sometimes wanders about 1/4". I'm not sure if it's due to the weight of the pellet (25.4g) at such low velocities but I get the same results when using H&N FTT 20g pellets on Power 1 setting.
