FX Fx Bobcat Mk1

I just purchased a FX Bobcat .22 MK1. This particular gun did not come with a regulator. Hoping to hear from someone who has installed a regulator on this gun and what they thought about the change in the gun. The gun shoots fantastic but definitely has a sweet spot in PSI to get a consistent shot string.

I always answer Bobcat posts as I've been shooting one from new since '18...still solid as a rock...even the magazine...Always ready and reliable. I've posted so many outstanding groups from it, most were not benched, just to prove it's consistency year in year out, still looks and shoots like new. The Mk1's have a reputation of being difficult to work on...personality, I would learn the shot curve and just shoot it there. They are ACCURATE and reliable guns I sure it will serve you well...

That one looks like a Mk2... The Mk2 are much easier to work on than the Mk1s.

I bought one from AOA back in the day and paid extra to have them add a regulator, not sure what was required but was an amazing gun.

Have you guys seen this stock before? I purchased as mine has a slight crack where I would mount my bi=pod.View attachment 510772
The stocks on the production model have a thickened portion on the forestock front end underside. You've got to mount a rail there for a bipod. Rail can't be allowed to cover the existing stock release/air tube release screw. See picture. Use shorter rail or drill a longer one. Doesn't appear the pre production one has it.
