Had the opportunity to shoot this gun today and first impressions: 

Wow...hefted to shoulder and felt like a true quality build. Action: you could ask for better, but you would never get it...the side lever is flawless and positive in actuation and feed. ES spot on. A true 35 shot ES of 12 fps and this is at random from a brand new gun. Trigger pull: stiff in the 1st stage, from factory, but super crisp 2nd stage w/ only an adjustment required for perfection. Efficiency: well uhhh, I'm used to .25 cal and this eats air in comparison but f**ks em up down range. Love the soft touch finish and blinged out with an atlas bipod and 32x 56mm sidewinder, just the poops for a long range massacre. Beluga yes, but cowboy up and enjoy the inherent stability/moment that comes with the weight and length. I am not in a position to comment on accuracy, as all shots were about 50 yard pokes but by all indications, reputation precedes the ultimate results of a 1 MOA gun. I was surprised by the perceived report, as the impact on target was much greater than the muzzle noise. Call me a traitor but coming from an Edgun guy, objectively, I LIKE! Thumbs up!

We gave up on a 4 week wait for an Omega tank from AOA and have a Great White on it's way, from airtanksforsale.com, expected within 4 business days (can you say customer service)...our thanks to Joe and Andy.
 
Congrats on the new gun mate. This ones a tac driver. It will shoot superbly well at 100/120 yards. This is the max I have stretched mine out to. I am positive it can do more but you will need adjustable scope rings to increase the range. Given the rainbow trajectory of the pellet, the clicks on the turrett are pretty much maxed out at 120 yards.
That's a 15 shot group below with a 10 mile wind and was the first group of mine at 102 yards. I have gotten much better but the guns damn accurate.

Just to clarify, congrats go to my buddy, Kevan, as he is the proud owner of the MK2 I shot. (spoiled brat, his first PCP) He wanted to buy my Synrod, but I have that set up and tuned so sweet, I couldn't bare to part with her. Like I said, I'm an Edgun guy and we're working on getting his to shoot as well if not better. Definite advantage in gusting wind with the .30 cal. Good tip "fear&loathing"...we planned on the long range eventuality and it's setup with the FX adjustable rings/bases. To realize the full clarity potential of Hawke Sidewinders, you need to zero POI @ or near optical center, as I have noted deterioration in optical quality, starting @ 30-40 clicks off center. Adjustable rings are a really nice feature.

From my perspective, they actually are not the same but you want to have the optical center coincide with your point blank range or most frequent distance as you can. I note that as the reticle is adjusted whether it is to zero the gun @ your point blank range or the turret is turned a couple of times to make an extreme long shot the clarity or focus seems to suffer.

I believe it is our custom to post pics of a new gun when you get it. It's been a while since we've seen some good Bobcat snaps. it's getting a little left behind since the Wildcat and Impact came along 

Is the Bobcat 30 a bullpup version of the Boss or are they different actions?

I don't think it's being a traitor to say you prefer the noise control of your new gun over your old one. I've heard from a few people that Edguns are louder than their direct competition. 

If you get a chance to check, I'd be interested to know how accurate, loud and powerful it is on some of the lower power settings (I.e. Could it be used as a backyard plinker as well as a serious hunter?).
