That wood is beautiful!
I also have a Walnut blank that I have been itching to start. Not as pretty as yours!
Nice pick!

Thanks Doc. I would love to buy a Walnut blank, but it isn't available in VietNam. So, I just get what I can. They said this wood is never have termites and always have a really good smell. They use it for something antique, expensive stuff, and also gun stock collection. I don't know much about wood, so I just listen to an expert Hopefully, it makes it here safe."NMshooter"That wood is beautiful!

Thanks Doc, can't wait to see your!!!"NMshooter"Good luck Vu!! I am starting a new stock as well. It will be for a Weatherby Vanguard. I will be posting pictures soon.
I use the press drill...slowly...I mean very slow. I drilled that hole first before anything else, just make sure that I don't make any mistake after that. So, after that hole, I can align the rest of the gun."NMshooter"Cool idea on smoothing the air tube cylinder tube. How did you bore the original hole. May have missed it earlier. Did you do it on a lathe?
