FX boss loudness

Can anyone attest for the loudness of this airgun?

After doing a good couple nights of research I've concluded that the FX boss 0.30 cal fits the bill for what I want in an airgun (long range performance, reasonable price, badass platform, good full power shots per fill).

Only thing I am worried about is the loudness to the gun, I live in a suburbanish area in which is somewhat wooded but there are houses in the distance. I really don't wanna draw unwanted attention to myself and it may be a deal breaker. Would be too bad because the ballistics of the 0.30 cal is pretty hard to beat.

I came from a talon tunes shrouded 24" condor previously which was quiet enough for my application.

Curious if anyone out there can compare the loudness to a more common rifle or provide me some decibel measurements of the report.

Thanks!!

I have been asked by quite a few owners to make something for their 30 cal Boss air guns, to me this would indicate that it is not quiet enough for some owners, but this does not mean too much as I get asked to make them for Marauders as well, which we all know are fairly quiet guns.,Not meaning to confuse the issue just let you know, some owners think they are not quiet enough, Neil.

Though not the Boss, but with a very similar moderator my FX500 is very quiet. So for those who are saying the Boss is not backyard friendly or are saying that it is, I don't know because I've never been around one. One thing to consider is that the correct hammer spring adjustment to compliment the regulators setting also plays a big role in the quietness. When I first got my used FX500 is was really quiet. I actually thought there was something wrong with it. I chronied it and it was a tad low on fps but even after I increased the hammer spring it remained about the same.

Then I sent it off and had it regulated. It came back louder than what I'd remember it being by quite a bit. A few weeks ago I increased the regulator set point to get the velocity up to 900 and bingo the gun was back to it normal report. So I guess the hammer spring was too much for the previous regulator setting. Just something to consider if your regulated gun is louder than what it was or should be.
