FX Boss owners & former owns

So looking to get a .30 cal. My first choice would be a EDgun R3 but good luck finding someone willing to sell one. An R5 would be my second choice but even used they are out of my price range. So that brings me to the Boss. I prefer the KISS design when it comes to Airguns. So just curious what you think of the Boss those the currently own one but even more so the guys that had one and sold it and regret they did. 

My biggest issues would be how long the gun is 48”. I owned a Hatsan BT65 in .25. It is a fine gun very accurate not pellet picky out to 50 yds. It was capable of taking small game out to 100 yds. Just to long and way to heavy at 12 lbs.

I own an fx boss, yes, very accurate, but also is long and heavy, no off hand shooting with it, too heavy, but at 80 ft lbs of energy, 9 shot mag, and 40 shots per fill, it is well worth it

Another great option is FX Bobcat in 30cal. I love mine

I own an FX Boss. It’s silky smooth and super accurate. I buy and sell a lot of guns. This Boss will never be sold. It’s long, yes. And I don’t care. Post up and hit what you intend to.

I agree with iTaylor. The Bobcat is the same gun in a more compact form...

I think I would have to agree the Bobcat would be a better choice. But I already own 3 BP’s. I’m wanting to try a rifle platform again and I like how those that own a Boss or have owned one wish the still had one. That says a lot about Boss.

How heavy is a scoped, synthetic stock Boss, anyway?

How does the regulator work on the Boss. Are there any issues like with the Wildcat and Impact?

With a scope on a synthetic stock Boss should be less than 9lbs.

I have 2 Boss's i love them, but i shoot too much for .30 atm. So mine are setup in .22 and .25. I like a traditional rifle with wood, couldn't do a bobcat.

Regulators are like the ones on Royale, verminator, bobcat etc. Pretty solid but Huma makes replacements if you want to run higher pressure (also gives you a bigger plenum)
