FX Boss will not shoot

I was out this last weekend and cocked the side lever, when i pulled the trigger, nothing happened. I ended up taking the trigger apart and checking to see if there was anything i could fix. I tried to push down on the trigger wheel base and the sear to release the hammer, but still nothing. I'm wondering how to fix this. I have searched around but cant seem to find anything other than how to adjust the trigger. I haven't yet taken apart the side lever (there's no youtube videos on that :) maybe that's where the problem is? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I've tried calling AoA for the past few days, but they seem too busy to return my call. I just got this gun a few months ago and have shot less than 300 pellets through it. I wasn't really thinking I'd have to do surgery on it yet.

Thanks for the link, but I have already watched that video a few times...great video. But i still cant get it to go. Maybe a couple of pictures would help show where I'm at. The first two pics show the lever (trigger wheel base) being pushed and still not releasing. On the last picture it shows an O ring kinda hanging out in the slot, is that normal?

Safety catch has no influence on this, your pic shows clearly that the sear can be pushed in.
O-ring moving is not a problem, it's just to lock the sidelever in place when you close it.
First, I'd depressurize the gun if I were you for safety reasons. (First loosen bottle a turn or 2, be careful it doesn't hit the shroud, and loosen the stud which holds the stock.)
Then, hold back the sidelever, and push out the middle pin, and eventually the last pin which holds the sear.
Then the hammer should release when you slowly close the SL again.

"jking"Probably not what the problem is but it looks like your trigger bar/plate is broke where the safety screw would rest if the gun was in the safe position. Maybe I'm just seeing things but the end of that piece looks like it snapped off.

Sharp eye Jimmy, I think you are right.
Selector is in safe position, but the set screw can't get under the sear plate.

Edit: now I remember the safety catch on the match trigger engages with the lever which holds the trigger blade, the sear plate is ground off a bit to fit into the trigger housing.

Well, I finally got it fixed. I don't know what caused the problem, but the sear was jammed. I didn't want to degas it, so I decided to take outside and take the sear out. While tapping on the sear pin, (I was also holding onto the cocking lever), It finally released the sear/hammer and I lowered the cocking lever. I then had to reset the trigger settings. Thanks for all the help! Looking at the pictures, now I can see the sear is slightly off center, this may be how it jammed... I don't know. I hope it doesn't happen again. Thanks!

rofl dude with all due respect but try opening your eyes :D

Something broke off :D

That long tube screw @ the end, it's supposed to be screwed in the piece that broke off. It should be seperated from the trigger mechanism, not jammed in it.

It's for setting your safety guard if i remember correctly.

I have no clue whatsoever how it even got like this ? It's locktited pretty hard , it's like it was never screwed in to begin with ?!

Don't ROFL so fast, I get the idea you don't know what you are talking about.
Have you ever taken the Boss trigger apart? Actually I have.... I took my perfectly working trigger apart to take pictures, just to point someone who had issues with it in the right direction.
The part Jimmy was referring to indeed looks exactly like it snapped of, but it is ground off to fit into the trigger housing. Nothing funny 'bout that....
I'm Dutch as well, and maybe you are not aware of it, but I think your tone is a bit arrogant, and you won't make many friends if you keep on reacting like this (no offence)
I rather help people instead of making fun of them ;)

Just my 2cents.

@jerda, glad you got it solved :)

100mtrbench, I was simply pointing out that something didn't look right, If you'll open your eyes and look closer at the second photo there is a raw end exposed, not normal in a precision piece of equipment, I don't care if it broke off or was ground off it just caught my eye and thought the original OP might not have not noticed it. Could of been a big safety issue. Thanks for chiming in though..

"100mtrbench"Well i'll be damned, they changed the mechanism :D ... Ok then ...

Anyway, OP glad it's sorted.

p.s: "I'm Dutch as well..."

So what ? What's your point
Off topic, I've read some of your comments, and there are a few which could be interpreted as a bit arrogant, although I assume that in your case, it's meant more like "being enthusiastic"
However, in your post regarding the "broken off" sear lever, you made people look like some kind of fool, at least, that's how I read it.
My point is, try to give us (Dutch) a good reputation :)
I know most Dutchmen are very direct, (including me) and I know it is mostly meant well, but people of other nationalities might take it as being offensive/impolite/arrogant. Just some well meant advice.

"I know most Dutchmen are very direct, (including me)"

That statement explains a lot to me as my mothers family came from that region long long long ago. I have always been the totally "direct" type even though I was born in Texas and have never been outside the USA (now I know it is possibly hereditary) . I learn the coolest things in the strangest places. Many thanks weatherby for the insight!
