Yeah use the Huma quick fill adapter and you will repeat this process nearly every time.
The adapter will dislodge the valve seat almost every time, it won't work even with the restrictor screw they now include. Do not use!!!
Best fittings has addresed this in a recent post that I started and is working on a proper filling dapter that will work without blowing the valve seat.

Lemensd, thanks for the heads up! I was wondering what caused it! It happened to two tanks of mine in a row! Ahaha. I will stop using it until a new adapter arises.

I've already been there done that.
You can make a spacer that fits between the brass nut and valve seat that will retain the valve seat in it's intended position.
I used some arrow shaft material for a spacer, it must fit the id of the valve stem and the OD of the valve housing to work correctly and by doing this right it will allow you to use the Huma.
