FX FX Crown .22 Stuck Pellet and MAG.

I double loaded it... as I have done before... but easily cleared. This time the mag will not come out. I am guessing the only option is to still attempt to drive it out from the front unless removing the barrel will let the mag release. I am not usre how the end of the barrel is made at the breach to know if that will help. As a last resort i could knock the mag out with rubber hammer BUT i fear that is likely to damage something else besides just the mag. SUGGESTIONS?

Agreed
Remove the barrel
Make sure you undo all the grub screws that come in contact with the barrel, including the one under the scope where FX drilled the transfer port.
Once the barrel is off pellets in the barrel can often be tapped out using a dowel
Is it a MKii with the superlight barrel?
There's a picture from FX below

Hope this helps

A word of caution....I have reinstalled a barrel/liner and taken the rifle out to shoot....magazine would not go back into the rifle.
Even though there is a notch and stop at the end of the brass port piece, sometimes it extends a smidge too far into the magazine well. If that happens you cannot load a magazine into the rifle without first loosening up the barrel set screws, pulling the barrel out VERY slightly and re-tightening the barrel set screws.
The BEST way of preventing this is to insert an EMPTY magazine into the well, then install the barrel and adjust the barrel insertion to just kiss the magazine. This will allow the magazine to be loaded into the well after you're done.
