ok, still need help and some kind of direction, I am loosing hope here.
Gun specs again:
Crown MK2, 30 cal, 600mm barrel SXT Superior 1:22 liner.
I got me NSA Slugs boxes of each caliber from 44.8gn to 60gn and all in between, tried them all with stock hammer, playing with hammer adjustment and best I was able to do is 140BAR on reg 830FPS with 44.8GN slugs, accuracy was not there, at 40 yards I get get few shots in one hole them bunch of flyers, was not happy with 2-3" spread.
SO I figured I need heavier hammer to get me faster speed to balance slug better.
Upgraded hammer, got me to 150BAR after testing all hammer spring settings settled on #16 getting them 44gn going 920FPS, tried all of them slug weights and same thing, few good groups and again all over the paper, 40 yards with 2-3" flyers.
Kind of lost at this point, what am I doing wrong here.
I can shoot gun very well, I shoot my rifles 100-600 yards with sub MOA results all day long and I can't stack 40 yards, what?
If anyone can point me in the right direction, please help.
I chronoed my shots, the groups with flyers and I get extream spread of 15-20 on avarage and SD is usually single digits.
