So I realize I'm a little late to the party, however I now own two Crowns and hope my 2c will be helpful.
First piece of advice is don't mess with the settings. These things come well tuned from the factory, however benefit from some breaking in before you'll see max accuracy. Give it some time before deciding to fiddle with the dials.
Second my .22 crown accumulated lead in the barrel fast. A good cleaning would get it going but a hundred rounds later groups would open up again. This lasted easily over 1k rounds. I did two things that improved it greatly and now it shoots and rarely needs a cleaning. First was a good scrubbing with JB bore paste. Instant improvement. Second was putting several hundred rounds through it straight with no cleaning and not worrying about groups. (Testing silencer designs) when I popped out the other side of that the thing shot lights out and doesn't often need to be cleaned.
Please keep in mind that people tend to post their best groups, think of it as friendly bragging. Those groups are a combination of luck, hard work, and good atmospheric conditions. It would be a mistake to pick up a new rifle and expect to simply print one beautiful group after another just like the best of us do on occasion and post here.
I hope that is helpful. For now just try to enjoy your gun and not worry about it too much.
