FX crown barrels

I know that the crown and Impact both run the smooth twist x barrels. Does anyone have confirmation on whether or not the crown will have the 700mm barrel/shroud option in the future. I feel like it would rewrite the book on benchrest tournament screen.

I'm thinking the Crown will not. It's a floating barrel that doesn't have the support for a longer barrel like the Impact.

I was wondering the same thing a while ago so i e mailed fx...they have no plans to put it on the crown

FX Stated the Crown won't use the barrel. Apparently it's too long for the free floating design on the Crown. The Impact has support half way up, so 700mm is doable. At least, that's what I remember hearing.

Just use the 700mm impact barrel on the Crown....
