FX Crown Continuum

I sold a Daystate Wolverine (25) and bought an FX Crown Continuum in 25 caliber. I have to say I am very impressed so far. I have only shot the short barrel so far. 10 pellets through one hole at 55 yards. Little bigger than a dime. The gun seems so much lighter than the Daystate. I'm ready to kill a squirrel with it now. Build quality is awesome, the case is awesome, the moderator is quite which is surprising since its hollow. I went with the Yellow Jacket stock which I think is beautiful. A lot of money but impressed.

I've had one for over a year and I've been completely and thoroughly pleased. The gun handles so well, and is such a pleasure to carry thru the woods with short/light barrel. And still shoots 16gr .22 lights out at 960fps. What's not to love.

I have a synthetic and another walnut stock, the walnut seems to balance the gun out better. And just looks the part, for me, anyhow.

Both great guns. I get bored with things. When I bought the Wolverine I debated, Daystate or FX. After a year of the Wolverine it was time to experience FX. I sold the Daystate on Ebay after no interest here. Never do that again. They take too much of a fee and hold your money too long. Learning lesson. For hunting I will love the shorter barrel of the FX and the lighter feeling. Both triggers are awesome. I have not used the rotary magazine on the FX yet because I was loading them one at a time. No single shot tray with the FX. The Wolverine had one. The rotary magazine on the FX has a good review from Steve at AEAC, I will find out. The Daystate is known to have the pellet probe dinging problem when using the magazine and mine was no exception. The FX did not come with a screw on thread protector while the moderator is off. It may be possible to buy one or find a nut at the local hardware store? Small detail but would have been nice. Both guns are extremely accurate. After more testing with the FX, I will find out who gets the nudge on that one. The case is a very nice touch along with the extra barrel for 100 bucks more on the FX. I know I am leaving a lot out but I've only owned the FX Crown for a day. Neither purchase is a mistake in my opinion if you are willing to part with that kind of doe.

I almost always use a SST on mine. There are nice 3d printed ones available on ebay 🙂 I even got a second one and modified it to fit my nova star
