FX Crown stock fit question

We all suffer from fat head syndrome , Thus our heads need the extra room It happens shortly after you buy an FX pcp before you even finish a tin and get the barrel seasoned good my head began to swell. Now that I own several I have to wear a neck brace after lunch because my scrawny neck cannot support my fat FX swollen head after mid day. The swelling goes down a lil unless you dream about your FX Crown at night . In this instance there is no relief haha lol

If you do get one you will develop this rapidly!! and love your new FX Crown pcp. You have been warned my advice is to leave it alone so there are more of them for the rest of us. ((( We are already infected so might as well enjoy ourselves right? )))
Just kidding of course lol

I'm on the verge of buying a Crown but can't find one with adjustable cheekpiece. How do you guys that have one get a decent cheek weld with super high rings needed to clear the magazine on the synthetic?
The first time I ran into the problem you are inquiring about I cut a slice of a pool noodle and placed on the stock with rubber bands and camo bandage wrap tape until I could find a used heavily discounted stock with the adjustable cheek riser. They show up here and there semi reasonably. I once purchased a flawed one way back that had been replaced by aoa warranty service and sold for peanuts. I found 3 more here and there when others changed theirs out for the sabertactical stocks to shoot bench rest with their Crowns . There are other options to make your own with a rigid piece of plastic heated and bent (( or Maybe kydex )) that could be fasioned pretty easily and be adjustable as well when fitted to a synthetic stock. I mean it is not a walnut or laminate stock it is synthetic and cheap for the most part so why not have fun and get creative with it untill one pops up used. I am currently hunting a synthetic used stock to make another light weight woods walking crown with a 300 mm barrel from a dreamline and a 300 mini bottle lol. Just a few suggestions. You can buy the hardware and make some of the stocks adjustable as well. A few members here have done some very cool mods to the walnut stocks that turned out very nice. I hope maybe you found something in here helpful and if not I wish you the very best and humbly apologize for my late night ramblings haha.

A couple more thought really quick were to buy one of the elastic bands that hold shells for example and stuff padding under it until desired height is achieved. Or even cooler would be to take and make a leather wrap that you stitched or used a leather boot lace to fasten it together with that had a padded area for the desired height until you found something else you liked more. Later

Why can’t you find one with an adjustable cheek piece? Are you buying used?

Here is an example of adapt and over come lol. I needed a small amout of elevation increase to get a proper sight picture on my scope , some harmonics tuning and assistance with the wind age call. LOL

FWIW, I'm average size (180 pounds, 5'11") and the standard walnut stock fits me fine. No problem with the cheek weld.
Is this a non adjustable cheek version of the walnut stock? I'm not the original poster but have considered a synthetic Crown. I too have wondered about cheek weld fitment on a non adjustable stock.
