FX FX crown

Depends on preference. mk1 came with 11mm sight rails on gen 1 and 2. gen 3 mk1 came with a 0moa 20mm pic rail for mounting sights. mk2 crown came with a larger plenum and valve, also have 20moa 20mm pic rail on top. gen 1 and 2 mk1's also came with heavier barrels that extend outward for sound moderation, mk1 gen 3 (continuum) and mk2 came with superlight barrels that do not extend. As the name indicates, they are extremely light.

Personally, I don't see a need for a mk2 if you are shooting .177 or .22, but if you want to shoot slugs without really modifying your ports or hammer, then the mk2 would be better.

Here's my mk1 gen 3 (continuum) .22, 380mm

I agree with Long Gun 100%. I bought an MKI Crown here on the classifieds. Best gun purchase of my life. Yea I like my Impact M3, but man can that Crown shoot! A .22 MKI Crown can handle slugs just fine even to 100 yards easily. Just a little more involved if your going to be swapping barrels all the time.
If you buy a crown, order a carbon fiber sleeve at the same time. You’ll thank me later.
Here is mine. It may not be pretty but this gun setup for 16 foot pounds for field target, just killed 5 squirrels Wednesday afternoon. All with head shots between 20 & 55 yards

The continuums come with two barrels. 380 and 700mm. I converted my long 700mm barrel into a 500mm one with a superior liner (shoots mid and light weight slugs as well as pellets) Can see the carbon tube bonded to my liner here. On the earlier crown barrels, the liner goes insto a steel sleeve, and the carbon tube goes inbetween the two. The superlight barrels use spacers to center the liner inside the shroud.

My mk1 continuum also came with this case.
