I just finished rebuilding my old FX Cutlas complete down to valve pins, valve seat etc. It was tight as a drum and held air perfect on the bench. When I pulled the airtube and mounted it in the stock I cocked it to check the auto return on the side lever and of course accidentally dry fired it.
Once I replaced the airtube it started slow leaking out the barrel. I assume it just popped the valve seat loose, but is there a chance I need to replace the valve pin and seat?
This was one of those defeating moments where I was basically done and now I need to pull the valve apart.
