Tuning FX Dream Line loose component internally

Noobie with first PCP here, which is the Dream Line Lite 30 cal. I have not changed any of the factory settings except from the front power wheel changing from 25 / 30 to 177 / 22 to Low. Less than 200 pellets shot, and filled up the tank three times, never filling over 250.

after filling for the third time yesterday, there is now something loose internally, and sliding back and fourth through the body when held straight up and down,

Rifle still shoots true,

any suggestions on what is inside sliding around and how to correct?

If you hear it only when the rifle is not cocked, and if it's the same action as the Royale, it's probably just the hammer, which is floating until cocked and under spring tension.

There is still something sliding when cocked, and it does not sound as if it is falling in a straight direction,

Where does it sound like it is coming from? What is the serial number?

The only place I can imagine, internally, where something could be falling around, is in the main action body. There are some pins and screws associated with the trigger, safety, and side lever, but it seems something wouldn't be working right if a piece had fallen loose. I would just remove the trigger assembly, then the hammer and spring....see what falls out.

I had the same(?) issue on mine it the was the valve holder (#8) on the parts diagram that had come loose and was rattling around.

I am wondering how it can shoot if its the valve holder that is loose?

how could the holder get past the spring and stem and fall loose? Curious minds want to know!

If you look at the dreamline diagram, it goes #8 valve holder, #9 valve spring, #10 valve pin #11 holder valve seal #12 gasket SPH this is for the “ old model” dreamline. The valve holder is before the spring & stem.

Correct. The holder holds the spring and pin in place. It is not a pressure retaining part.

I recommend using loctite superglue Ultragel Control to secure it.
