Hi guys, ive got my Dreamline lite 500mm barrel .22 with power plenum and superior liner a couple of weeks now. Reg is at 100-105bar and with HS set to max it's shooting JSB 18gr @880 and im woundering has anybody had success tuning for a slug like 21gr or 23gr on max HS and then being able to back off the HS to say min and shoot 18gr pellets on same tune while maintaing velocities needed.Or maybe by dropping from high to medium or low on the transfer port.

I have done that on my Crown with reg set at 150 bar and HS set to max for FX slugs and JSB monsters. I found turning the HS down to 4 I was able to shoot Hades around 880 which was what my 380 barrel liked. They shot better than the 18 grain JSB’s so I stuck with them. I also did a porting job on my probe and port that gained me around 40 FPS more than stock. I would think you can do it on the dream with the power plentum but you will have to raise your reg to get the slugs going faster.

It should be totally doable but to shoot the 23 grain slugs and 500mm you most likely need 140 bars for regulator and to do that you will need medium hammer weight. Call FX and it’s 10 bucks shipped.
also get ernest Rowe’s dual transfer port for your barrel, with hammer and transfer port you should be able to push the 23 grain over 900fps but you can get accuracy all the way down to mid 700fps with the superior liner. If you don’t want to shoot slugs at 900fps then you probably won’t need the hammer and set regulator at 115-120 and max out the hammer, you probably will get to 800fps with the 20grain. The light hammer can’t really open the valve enough pass 115bars.

My classic is set to shoot HN 21 grain @930 powerwheel max and 18.1 grain pellets @ 950 at low.
I have the reg at 140. HS close to max. Plenum and 500 mm stx. No dual tp on this setup.

Its the standard stx pelletliner 500mm. HN 218 21 gr. It’s accurate at 50 and 100 yes. 930 FPS . It gives me very nice groups at 50 and 100. Shot count is low.
