If it ever arrives, it's a dreamline in .25. I think it comes with the STX barrel they come with now (pretty sure) . Anyone with this caliber and newer DreamLine .25 have luck with .25 slugs? Though I read about NSA's somewhere.
Does that have the STX liner as well?my bottled dream-tact .25 600mm barrel does not like any of the NSA slugs compared to
there performance with the Hybrids,
thats my finding. maybe others have different results.

I took the barrel liner out and it's a superior liner. Been looking around trying to find out if H&N .250 slugs shoot well with this Dreamline Superior setup.Do you have the superior or STX? The STX liner didn’t shoot the lighter(26/29/29.5g) 0.249 sized NSA slugs worth crap! The superior liner however does shoot the lighter slugs well, either way make sure you have superior or superior heavy liner. If you aren’t sure take out the liner look for the sticker or see if the external grooves go all the way to the breach/chamber end with a ring cut.
What barrel length? Hope you have the longer 600mm barrel as the Dreamline action doesn’t quite have the power to really push heavier slugs, You certainly need the power plenum.
Also take out the hammer weight and weight it, likely you have the 12 gram medium hammer which is only good for up to about 140 bars reg but enough if you have 600mm barrel and power plenum to push the 26 grain at 900 fps. Should even get the 29 grain to 900 fps, I would recommend trying the 26 and 29 grain NSA. If you have the 13 gram heavy hammer weight then you can go to 150 bar reg and for sure you can push the 29 grain slugs over 900fps comfortably. Don’t bother with low reg tunes, for slugs you need the highest reg setting you can get away with.
Edit: if the gun is new then for sure it has superior liner.
I was under the impression that the OD's of all the .25 liners were the same regardless whether considered stx st, superior, or superior heavy... Seems to be what I've found but will know for sure when the sleeve gets here. Not trying to hijack the thread but....I'm going hazard a guess that the Superior Liner is heavier than the STX and the Carbon sleeve won't fit? I know the twist rate is a touch different. TIA
I'm looking for slug recommendations for the fx dreamline. 25 cal airgun. I have the 25 cal tactical version with the 600mm barrel (stx superior liner) and the 17cc power plenum. Shooting the Nsa 33.5 (. 250), the most power I was able to make was 881 fps, and this was only achieved by adjusting the 1.5mm allen screw to its maximum setting that still allowed the hammer spring wheel to turn. The nsa 33.5 slugs did not group well at 40 yds, so I'm looking for some additional slug recommendations to try in my gun. I have the reg set at aprox 145-150 bar. The reg is basically maxed out for the hammer & hammer spring that came in my gun. When I adjust the reg above where I currently have it set, the fps drops off which tells me the hammer is not hitting the reg hard enough to fully open the valve.Try NSA 26, 29 or 29.5 grain, I normally shoot the 29 grain and they shoot well out of the FX barrels. If you want to shoot slugs well then crank your reg all the way up to 150.
At what speed are you shooting the 29 gr slugs? Is this thru a stx superior liner?Try NSA 26, 29 or 29.5 grain, I normally shoot the 29 grain and they shoot well out of the FX barrels. If you want to shoot slugs well then crank your reg all the way up to 150.

I'm shooting 34gr @ 890 at 125bar, at 123/125 PW:23 HST "1.5 screw" I'm roughly 72-75% cranked in, 25.4 @960, AND THE 26GR Hybrids at 924-933... on the chrono through 1 full mag. I have a DL Tac, the tube originally had the new style reg and 290 now have a 580 bottle and plenum. Shoot the 26-29's. You can get a super decent shot count and more than reasonable power. I actually prefer the Hybrids so far. My gun loves them between 915-930 as far as grouping. .7-1 MOA through 80 for me. Haven't had the chance to group them at 100 yet.Good! That’s max power for the gun and hammer combo, you have the medium hammer so if you want you can order the heavy hummer to use reg up to 170 bars but you won’t gain too much more power and use a lot more air so not something I would do on a Dreamline.
Just shoot the 26 or 29 grain NSA at the sweet spot and it will be accurate out of superior or superior heavy liner. My guess you can get to about 900fps in your Dreamline.
