FX Dreamline Classic. Upgrades and tune suggestions.

The new one's, the classic versions have the plenum installed from the factory and the dual transfer ports as well. Those are your biggest increases besides a longer barrel. Huma pin probe and hammer spring also help.
The older Dreamlines don't have these, so if your buying used, be sure to ask, because those are $30 and $40 each. . Be sure also to make sure that a used one has the new FX superior liner in it as well, because there have been several upgrades to the Dreamline versions. It's not a good deal to save $200 on a 3 year old gun with no warranty when you could have bought a new one for the same price with a warranty and all the upgrades included. Utah Air has some deals right now.
The Huma slug/pin probe helps some. The barrel will help as well at about 10 foot pounds depending on caliber.

So what is the energy of the FX Dreamline Classic in .22 with the power plenum and dual transfer ports?

My opinion if you're going to buy the classic one and then put a 600mm 22cal barrel on it, I would buy the 25cal version with the longer air tube. Plus it is easier to make high power that way and for more shots coming from 25cal to 22cal. You talking about the different between 230cc tube with a 17cc plenum versus a 290cc tube in .25cal with a 17cc plenum.

Okay got it. How much power does the .25 cal produce when all the power upgrades are in it? Like the 600mm barrel, power plenum, dual transfer ports, and Huma slug kit.

You can run the standard superior liner for 25grain slugs or less. Usually when you go past 26 grains you need the Superior heavy liner in 22. In 25cal you can go to 35 grain without moving up to the Heavy slug liner.
What is the expected speed of a 30 grain .22 slug with all the power upgrades and the heavy liner?
