Tuning FX Dreamline Classiic regulator re-installation ?

Hi AGN. I'd like some help pls. My Dreamline Classic started leaking air where the adjustment for the regulator is. I replaced the o-rings. I have experienced an error in function upon reassembly when I filled it with air. The regulator has obviously moved from where it needs to be within the air-cylinder. Can some1 pls explain or direct me to a guide that would show me the proper way to ( re-install ) the regulator?
