Tuning Fx dreamline energy problems

Hello! 

I bought a dreamline about 4months ago. New generation with sulerior liner, power plenum, dual flow transfer port.

Now I'm trying to shoot slugs. I set the hammer spring max and I started to increase the regulator pressure. When the regulator at about 135bar it reaches the max power (21grains at 890fps). If I turn more the speed starts to drop down, when the regulator at 150bar it shoots at about 850fps. 

If I think right the hammer spring is to weak for this high regulator pressure. I ordered a Huma tuning hammer spring, new regulator gauge and a pin probe. 

I hope it will solve my problem. Maybe there is something wrong with my gun?

Anyone who have similar experiences?

Did you screw in the hammerspring with an allen key?

what calibre and barrel length?

Yes I screwed it in. (It's a Dreamline Classic) 500mm barrel, .22 calibre

Well then you are on the right way. Should se a increase with pin probe and the stronger spring

Im just curious about it. I saw hunting videos, and they had more power with the same gun.

You need a heavier hammer from FX, call and order the medium weight hammer.

First check if the hammer weight is in the hammer or behind the spring as spring guide.

In this picture the hammer weight is used as a spring guide, if you make sure the weight is in the hammer it will increase the power capabilities compared to using it as a spring guide only. If the weight is already in the hammer then indeed order a heavier hammer weight (there are a couple of different weights) or install a stronger spring.

Dont waist your time with the huma spring for a dreamline. I just received mine today. It's the exact same spring that in it. Go with a heavier hammer weight for your chosen caliber.
