FX Dreamline hammer removal

So I kept the original Hammer weight and just added a heavier duty spring, it's a simple matter of unscrewing that piece out of the back of the action and letting the hammer/spring fall out, I bought an additional piece and I don't remember where I got it I think it was off of eBay that goes in behind the threaded piece that captures the spring and Hammer it locks it in place
i did manage to put the hammer weight in- the german version just has a piece of plastic tube instead of the weight

but i do not understand what this threaded black end cap is for??

i can not capture the spring with it because the spring needs to be adjusted via the tensioner.. so the tensioner goes through that hole..

it seems to me like this is an endcap if one doesn't have the spring/hammer tensioner dial wheel??

why was it included in my original high power kit?

So I think you have a different gun than I do if you look at the picture mine is a dreamline classic you must have one of the guns with a chassis style stock those are very different in the way they work

i have a dreamline lite- its a basic version, cheapest one... but i see other guys video and i see where this cap sits by him..

and people comment that they have that too on their gen2 DL.. video is 4 years old..

i thought i also have gen2 but my block is completely different because where that guy has this end cap- its to tension the spring- good and simple way to put preload on the spring--- i have the real tensioner with a dial, just like the impact does i think..

so does it mean that 4 years ago the DLs did not have spring tensioners and one could tension the spring only by squeezing it with an end cap??
