The Wildcat II ties the barrel and the cylinder together with the scope rail mount. The Dreamline has both the barrel and rail mount floating with no support tie bars to the barrel.
The Wildcat seems a much more robust approach for both the scope and barrel rigidity. Is this due to the swappable configuration on the Dreamline series?
I seem to recall reading an issue about FX barrel deflection but can’t recall which models.
