FX Dreamline velocity spread

What is a “Typical” velocity spread for FX Dreamline? I see velocity spreads of 25 - 35 FPS using JSB 10.34 grain .177 pellets as typical and sometimes as much as 75 FPS.
What should I look for as possible cause or is this a normal spread.

That is definitely not normal. I normally see no less than a 4-5 FPS spread with the right tune on my .25, I think you might need to contact FX USA about this, and see if they can send you a replacement AMP reg. I’m sure some other members will chime in as well.

Make sure your TP wheel is not slightly off it’s setting. If you rotate it a little past any of the settings, you will get wild swings in your velocity spread.

If it's not the adjuster wheel nor regulator then check the breech seal o-ring.

FX US Has/is a big help and very responsive. I will send to them to find/fix problem

I have been having a similar issues and I believe it to be my regulator replenishing slowly. If I shoot somewhat quickly before it is back to pressure, I get low readings. I compared it to my friends exact same dreamline and his is fine. I need to inquire about getting it fixed. Good luck.

If you wanted to try and figure it out your self. We might be able help you more if we knew a little more about your gun and chrono type and placement. 

Where is your regulator set at?

Does your gun have the larger plenum?

What speeds does your gun shoot at on the different power wheel settings?

How long is your barrel?

What speed does your gun shoot at on the different caliber settings?

What type of chronograph are you using and how is placed when using?

What speed do you want the gun to shoot at?

to OP the spread on Dreamline should be under 10 and standard deviation around 2-4. It’s a VERY consistent gun.
