FX FX DRS .177 - 700 pellet loading problem

Hi

Can anyone tell me why my DRS needs force to load a pellet?
When I load slugs its smooth like butter when moving the cocking handle forward - but when loading JSB 13.43g or 16.20g the handle need a very hard push.
Any explanation?

It’s not unusual for jumbo pellets in any caliber to be notchy to load.

How is that rifle performing?

Generally those pellets are quite a bit longer so likely pushing them into the rifling compared to slugs are usually shorter in length

This comment above. All my 177s shooting the 16 beast do that sometimes the 13s. My impact is smooth loading with the 13 KOs but the 16 beast are harder due to the length
