I'm looking to get back into NRL22 with an air rifle (I shot a Vudoo a few years ago). I'm looking at the DRS Pro 700 in a Delta Force chassis. Is a .22 slug the best caliber choice? I want laser like precision at 50y, to hit that 1/4" target, while still having great ballistics out to 150-200y, for the longest shots.
I still have a scope, rings, bags, bipod, etc., so I think I only need the barreled action, chassis, ammo, and a filling tank. Is there anything else air rifle specific I should get? I'm looking at a 6.8L tank, so I have enough juice to last all day at a longer match.
