FX FX DRS and slugs

I'm planning on purchasing an FX DRS classic walnut, 600 mm 25 cal. Should I be able to expect to shoot slugs and pellets with equal accuracy with the barrel that is stock on that model, or will I need to do some sort of customization to shoot slugs accurately? thanks
the 600 DRS classic .25 I'm 95% sure comes with the STX superior liner. Has a 1:24 Twist, It will shoot most pellets very well. Slugs, not quite so much.
the 700 comes with a slug liner. You can also just buy the 600mm stx slug liner for another $110
The stx slug liner in .25.. ON MY GUNS shoots Hades, MK1 and Mk2 heavies, AEA 29.5gr and above pellets VERY WELL. Slugs above 30 very very well.
i've tried 26 and 28 gr slugs in the 1:16 liner and it scattered them all over. The .250 30gr and up hole on hole.

with that said, is this going to be hunting or target shooting?

Unless you really need the .25 for the slightly higher top end power, i'd suggest maybe .22 as a better option. two reasons
1. The superior liner in .22 can shoot lighter 22 slugs (which many exist) very well.
2. THE much wider weight range and availability of slugs and pellets.

All standard superior FX liners in .25cal can and will shoot up to 34 grain slugs. It has been proven on here by myself and many many more, and also goes along with what FX states about their standard superior liner.

Can you direct me to which slugs and ballpark velocities?

I'd love to know, i hate swapping barrels depending what i'm hunting (thus what i'm shooting) I've done side by sides on every slug i've had and there has been a total of one slug i've had more luck with (over 30gr) the superior than the 1:16 STX slug MK1 KO. everything else gets much tighter in the faster twist IN MY experimenting. from 820fps-925fps. For me .22 superior was fantastic for 17-25gr slugs.

My 700 22cal shot h&n 40 gr slugs pretty well I know it had a 1 in 16 twist in for a liner though
I like shooting those h&n 40 grain slugs out of my airforce Condor, just wondering how many shots you get with your Drs and 40 grain slugs per fill?
also do the 40 grain slugs fit in the magazine?
I also have NSA 40 grain slugs and other than the dish base I can't tell any difference between them.. other than the NSA are a few cents less than the h&n
Mark

NSA, H&N or Javelin .250 caliber slugs give me my best accuracy from the STX Superior 1:24TR liner.

I have used 32gr to 38gr at speeds from 925 to 1000fps in the Superior 1:24 liner.

The H&N HPII or the H&N Heavy slug are my preferred hunting slug, because of their ability to expand at long range.
HP slugs in 25 are certainly special.

Btw that zan 28 with 3 marks on the target isn't one group. It's 3 the zan 28 seemed to have the lowest tolerance for fouling had to pull a patch every 2 mags or they'd open way up
