FX Fx Drs classic 500 mm or daystatte Revere

I own both, a Safari and a DRS walnut in .177, give the nod to the Revere. Build quality over making the same gun for 20 years is unbeatable. Both are accurate with the edge going to the Revere. Also both are nice and light.
I would feel more comfortable toting the safari on a woods hunt vs the walnut stock. If I ever get a 25 revere, it'll be the safari for that very purpose.

Yeah the adjustment on the cheek is a plus. It’s also a bit less $$ than the walnut. Oh in the revere baffled or it needs a moderator?
You're going to want a mod if you have neighbors that don't like shooting. It's not overly loud, but it's not backyard friendly by itself.

The huggett belita is just about perfect on it. The Tanto would do nicely as well. Haven't tried a 0db or FALX mod yet.

With the DRS you are going to have a lot of future upgrades and options. It is a brand-new platform that companies are just starting to make 'add ons' for. There will probably be some bumps along the way.
With the Daystate you are getting a high-quality gun that is done. Just set it and forget it.

Disclaimer...These are just my opinions. I am not trying to pass them off as facts in any way.

I already have one.😂
Def the daystate then. Although still a sideways move it’s a different brand at least. The drs is basically a dreamline with different air storage location that is more difficult to tune. It’s a weird platform to me. Taking a step forward with plenum and air storage location then a complete step backwards with the tuning system. Then on top of that FX drops their 1k gun in a 1700 dollar chassis for a 3k option. Lmao…. Yes the drs will produce some more power but I assume you aren’t shooting heavy slugs or you wouldn’t but the 500mm. I mean if that were my goal I wouldn’t opt for the drs in the first place but that is another tangent. Anyway I would get the daystate. They are beautiful guns and seem to shoot great.

Spending ?1700 on a chassis is bonkers to me personally but guys are already winning with the product. Considering Matt just won 20 grand I am sure he feels it is money well spent. Had he bought his, which I doubt. lol
