FX Fx drs classic walnut version!!!

Hello guys
Did a shot count on my newly acquired drs .177 500mm barrel version,
Since this gun doesn’t have regulator gauge so I used pro chrono to get true data to share with u guys,
Filled up to 230bar using my ex-3000 evo with pro dry pac, yeah I live in a humid enviroment,50+moisture ina the air all the time, takes about under
3 minutes from 130 to 230,
Using recommended jsb exact heavy Diablo 10.34
I got 6 accurate and consistent mags
(16 shots each) and the last 7th mag started shooting off target and the rifle started to bark a lot louder,(without potato)
And this rifle is not back yard friendly like at all,
Contrary to what Utah guys says it is!!!
So ended the session there,
So all in all 6 consistant and accurate mags means 96 shots
And the length and weigh of the rifle is very nice,
36.5 inch long and 5.5lbs without scope,
I m pleased with my purchase.
Utah Airguns are nice retailers.
And some pics for some visually depraved airgunners!!!

How's the accuracy?
It’s spot on,
Shot after shot
And honestly I have not dialed In my utg 100% yet!!!
The only thing I don’t like about this rifle so far is the trigger!!!
There is hardly any first stage and the second stage is very I would say like
Gear transmission vs cvt!!!
This fc drs is like that geared tx feel…
Compare to daystate revere .177 I had from Aoa,
This is not even close to that trigger feel that revere had,,
Man that daystate trigger left a sweet memory in my mind I tell u,

Thank you so much for posting this. I am looking at getting a DRS 500 in 177 and earlier today saw that they didn't have a power setting like my Streamline, and was wondering how fast it would be shooting the 177's. I want mine to be less than 1000fps, preferably closer to 800.
Yeah man,
that’s what these airgunnation type platforms suppose to do right,
help us share and gather some true statistics before we throw our hard earned money at these manufacturers products!!!

Can the power be lowered as I just ran a few shots thru my Streamline over a chrono, and they were at 775fps, and going thru 3/8"plyboard at about 7 meters.
Fc x says owner can adjust it internally placed reg on drs but I would never play with it since I just jumped on the pcp wagon!!!!
my targets Are 25 30 and 35 yards so yeah..

Ok guys after few days of testing against revere,
this drs is not even enjoyable anymore,
very poor accuracy,
the form factor,
the weigh of this pcp is nice,
super smooth cocking mechanism,
decent shot count,
but the accuracy is piss poor man,
piss poor….
I have tried the recommended
10.34 jsb heavy,
also
I tried
10.33 rangemaster
10.03 daggers
10.05 barra
9.41 Olympia
9.33
9.18
8.80
8.64
8.18
this airgun maybe good for hunting but for backyard target shooting which I want 100 accuracy is not there with this pcp,
i m gonna try to see if can return it,
any Suggestions for replacing this??
I can spend some more in order to get that level of accuracy I want like my revere Out of fx brand!!!

That is frustrating. Not sure if it will help or not but the tune on the gun is not good. The consistency is poor and raises speed a good amount after it falls off the reg meaning that there isn't enough hammer spring tension. You should tune it to 3-5% of max fps at your current reg pressure. I understand wanting a different gun. FX isn't known for .177

Do u own drs?
or u suggesting I should do that??
I don’t even let it drop off reg most of the time,
the gun just throws pellets in all directions except where u point it!!!

I don't own a DRS but from tuning many airguns I have experience in how some tunes can look when they aren't quite right. The large swings in velocity doesn't help and shows the tune is not balanced. I'm not saying that is the issue for your accuracy problems but it is an issue and doesnt help. I'm not sure you can get a refund having it a couple weeks now but yeah I understand the frustration.

I would say try some more pellets and some lightweight slugs too.

I agree...once one use the Revere as a yardstick to compare another airguns against I say that airgun haven`t been made yet. Bought my Revere almost 3 years ago and I am still convinced it ranks as the the very best PCP in its class ever made.
