This early on and it's in stock probably means not enough people find the MDT chassis worth the asking price. While it's an option and it's always good to have options the MDT option seems a bit over reaching for most of traditional airgun crowd. While 3k is not that much money in PW world but people that would buy it and could afford it is still quite few. Personally I canceled my DRS classic pre-order because I'm still waiting on the Semi-Pro chassis to be available.

Remember when you guys were first started talking about this rifle, before a price was released. I made a comment about it being close to the $3K mark and many laughed. The chassis alone is worth quite a bit of money. Just because it is on an airgun doesn't mean MDT is going to skimp and cheap out on their product. They make EXTREMELY high quality products and are well worth the money.

I agree. The platform makes sense to me but the Classic and Pro in MDT chassis are both too extreme. Something in between would be nice.
