Good morning!!
I have a FX Dynamic in 25 cal with a 600mm barrel.
What slug brand and weight is recommended for accuracy past 100 yards? Also what speeds do the slugs need to be at for best result?
I’m trying to avoid wasting a ton of slugs and air (I don’t have a compressor).

Javelin .250 diameter 40 to 44 grain is what we tested with awesome results.

Was it tuned by a shop before you got it? If so ask them what pellet they used to tune it.

The 600mm comes with a heavy liner and a transfer port too large for good pellet use. If you want to use pellets out of a 6 or 700mm dynamic or panther, you can swap the liner and drill the opposing side of the brass inlet to make it a dual transfer port.

I’ve had great results out to 300 yards with the Altaros ATP Smooth 49.5 grain at 885 fps.

.25 caliber FX Panthera 600. Reg at about 135 bar, micro at about 3.5 (doesn't matter what macro is at). Should give you 885 to 890 fps with the 49.5 grain Altaros Smooth.

I usually prefer the javelin 25 cal slug that weighs 38 grain and 44 grain. The FPS should be 950-980. It's pretty accurate. Trust me!

I use the Altaros in 22 and they made everything else obsolete, but I’m just an average shooter. Centercut, on the other hand, is a grand master and really worth listening to. Altaros are twice the price of the other slugs, but just like the expensive “Madman” heroin described in “Pulp Fiction”, “you will know where that extra money went when you shoot it”
