Ive seen a couple of King stocks up for sale recently. I was wondering if anyone had re-stocked a Dynamic with one and if so apart from the safety is there anything else to be aware of?. I know the safety spring is loose on the Dynamic, is that the same on the King?.

I have had and shot both. I love the ergonomics of the King GRS stock. It really depends on your personal preference for fit and appearance.

you will need to covert the bottle. Plug up the rear and get an adapter for the front. Safety lever is different. Everything else is the same minus 10moa in the rail. Get the parts diagram for both and see what you need .

Unfortunately it seems that it will be slightly more complex. The blocks differ slightly as per attached picture. The safety spring is retained by an M3 bolt (and there isn't a hole drilled for it on the Dynamic, and the rear bolt fixing hole is in a different location. Interestingly the block with 2 rear fixing holes is a new synthetic King, and the foremost hole was drilled after anodizing....I wonder if FX ran out of the right type of block?. It seems that to make this work I will have to drill a couple of holes in my Dynamic block.

I've put my UK 300mm Dynamic action into the synthetic stock with a small bottle. I think this is how I'll keep it. I will need to strip the gun down and ask an engineer friend to drill the necessary holes in the right places. The Synthetic King action will go into a GRS laminate stock.

Well, there's your answers I guess. On my GRS King, the spring is held in with a plate attached with a m3. Looks like they are changing things up as time goes by.

Looks like the original King has the same holes as the dynamic, so they changed up things for the synthetic. The one pic is my original block that I replaced under warranty.
