Years ago, FX was notorious for iffy pressure gauges. Even today, many use Sekhmet or keller. Are these aftermarket brands that much better? Do they justify the cost over OEM?

While I can't state that they're justified, I can state that the Sekhmet electronic gauges are easy to use, and I have had zero issues with the 28mm diameter ones on both of my Impacts. I only use them on the final regulator, not the bottle or mid regulator though.
Charging is the only thing to remember to do, but each charge lasts a long time, like months. Easy charge with the USB cord, takes about 45 minutes from low to full charge.
No matter if I get another rifle, I will add a Sekhmet gauge to it, if that helps you.
I know that there are less expensive offerings out there but have no experience with any of those.
