I am a cheapo to, I do most of my hunting with crosman hp for grey squirrel with no problem .I will be looking for them 6.28 for 500 and if that the price, I will buy some. HA HA

I'm waiting almost 6 months for just a barrel tensioner for my impact. Wish FX would finish producing one thing before they move to the next.

Glad there is another choice added for ammo, replacement for pellets? No way, pellets and choked barrels make rifles shoot multiple ammo types, if you think these will shoot in most your rifles your mistaken.

not sure why Fx can't commit to availability on pellets, i mean, we're talking pellets not highly complex air guns

probably because they don't actually make them but either rebrand JSB or other. I am sure they have their specs and possibly design requirement but from there it is up to the mfg to deliver.

hehe yeah it would have been a HUGE misjudgement if you sold off all your pellets 5-6 months ago.
Fortunately there are other brands in the Slug DPT to enjoy, i am personally waiting for the weather to come around to half way descent.
And of course my Maverick back from warranty repair where it have been for 2 months now.

Seeing that this thread is still bustling (14 pages & 19k views) I wanted to give everyone an update. I spoke to FX and they confirmed that they are making these machines in house. They are waiting for a critical component to arrive, which is now expected in February, then they'll begin testing and production.
