FX Halo Ammunition - Say Goodbye To Pellets

I think you'll see NSA's similar offering this summer and probably never see the halo... but that's just my opinion.

I AM SO LOOKING FORWARD TO NSA's OFFERING!

I need an EXTREME EXPANDING projectile!

🔸And look at these from the firearms world! Incidentially, they are called Halo.
Their 5 lances separate on impact and spread the damage 8 inches wide! Wow!

Have you tried Varmint Knockers? Not cheap, but they open up.

Well i am not into new slugs for better stopping power, i am only here for more accuracy.
So if the halos are just "braking " harder but not flying better, well then we are back to the old prime metrics of price, in regard to what i would buy in the future.

Mind you i would like some really small ( well in my book ) 10 gr slugs with stopping power, CUZ i think i would dial my Vulcan 3 for something like that.

That is why I want to shoot slugs, but not at the prices it is going for now. That is why I rather use my .22LR for 100 - 200 meter target shooting as it cost only a few cents more per shot. As for now my pcp with pellets is for short distance target shooting like 50, 75 and 100 meter, mostly 50 and 100.

For hunting, when I do it occasionally, pcp is 50 meter maximum for which pellets are good. I hunt with the .22LR 100 meter maximum. Break barrel 15 to 20 meter maximum, depending of size of quarry. I don't want to prove something to nobody just to wound the animal. If I hunt I want to be 100% sure about shot placement and enough energy. If this Halo proves to be cheaper than normal slugs and as accurate, I might use it for longer distances.

We will see if and when this Halo actually become available what the price is and then if it is really more accurate than pellets, I would like it to be, then I might use it for longer distance hunting like 75 meter.

CUZ If they do not work reasonable in all the other brands of rifles/ barrels, well that will mean less sold i assume.

I sure as hell are not buying a #3 barrel for my Maverick, O hell no i had to get the first one just so it would shoot reasonable, but perhaps someone / anyone that had a more pleasurable experience with their expensive FX rifle than i had will be Okay with getting another barrel.

It is NOT the swapping of FX barrels, that job in itself is a cakewalk, it is the extra cost for another barrel on top of the regular i have + the heavy one i also have.
Also wondering in these if that new liner then have exactly the same twist rate as the standard .177 barrel and heavy barrel, CUZ in that caliber there is not more spin for heavy / slugs for some reason,

That does not say that it will not shoot good out of other rifles.
Indeed, but the fact they had to make a new liner, i assume mean that with the regular liner and heavy they dont shoot as well, making me think if they do not shoot as well there, well maybe they also do not shoot as well out of other brand barrels that otherwise have been somewhat comparable to FX in slug performance.

It also do not say if this new barrel are even able to shoot pellets,,,,,,, not that i would just outright assume a slug barrel would be able to do that, but my heavy liner, maybe as its .177 and so exactly the same as the standard barrel aside for the way the rifling are made CUZ that do look different, anyway my heavy liner shoot pellets pretty good too, a hell of a lot better than the factory 600 mm barrel did.

That does not say that it will not shoot good out of other rifles. If they have a dedicated barrel for that, it only means that they prepared for it. Unlike most other brand names, FX have many different barrels.

Look how the farmers reacted to John Deere making their parts and diagnostics proprietary, terrible idea and another reason I don't own anything FX. They are 1 giant marketing scheme, do their rifles perform? ****ING A RIGHT THEY DO. That cannot be denied, however Id rather own something that can shoot many different ammos well without needing to buy a specific barrel kit with this tensioner or that "add on", or shoot an ammo that likes many different rifles.

They also lied and told users this would replace pellets, lmao it ain't replacing pellets unless all the rifles on the market can accept that new straw barrel they came out for the pellugs aka halos.
