Tuning FX Harmonic Barrel Tuner Compact (500mm) Issues

Thanks a lot for measuring.
So the 480cc (62mm) might clear moderator but probably wont clear the tuner.
700cc bottle looks to clear the tuner with 600mm and of course the 700mm barrel.
My heavy liner, power kit, carbon sleeve, and tuner are out for delivery today.
The 300bar bottles just now shipped.
I really wanted a compact power setup for mid weight slugs. Then i was going put together a .30 long range setup.
The tuner was going to allow me to set up the gun for power then find a node for accuracy with the tuner. Which is the true advantage of the tuner. Allowing one to not depend on fps alone to harmonically set your gun. Theoretically the tuner should open up a wider range of working velocities for a gun/projectile combo.
Guess Ill never know

Probably wont mess with the gun till Sunday. Its dead nuts right now. I want to take it hunting for the first time tomorrow. Sunday i plan on installing the heavy liner and try to tune for slugs.

Well , after the machine shop it is like it should have been . 0.039 off the total diameter and now it fits . Little sand paper and some black spray paint ill be good as new .

Nice....shouldn't of come to that but at least your not stuck with an unusable hunk of carbon and metal.

I agree but I waited two months for this thing an no real response from UA or FX so at least now I can use it and move on .

Well Threw on the tuner. It cleared if you cant tell from the pic. Also allowed more room for the valve adjuster. I can go out another 1 1 1/2 turns with the tuner on vs the original shroud.

True. Even less so with the carbon sleeve.
I don't see the tuner as a way to tighten groups, but as a way to tune accuracy after choosing a target fps.
I am going to shoot slugs at high power with my compact. I didn't wan to be restricted by harmonics.
