Got mine from huma today.flawless seems to have rubber coating. Tiny dot you can barely see in pic but live no problem.and away we go.

The shroud is 1/2 unf but my Ronin has m20 back plate threads.ugh.

One other thing...the Ronin is so heavy it seems to negate some of the effect the barrel tuner has. I've actually started using those FX hollow mods with some 3d printed baffles again...

That is interesting that your barrel tuner came in a bag and packaged for display on a rack. My barrel tuner with shroud came in the fx tube and bubble wrapped. It was not coated. Maybe there is a consumer edition vs. a tuner edition.

Just got my tuners! No issue with it, Got it from Talontunes and he did a great job packing it for shipment. Now I'm waiting for the 700mm tuners.
