What are you shooting? I have a modified notos with a superior liner, 17 LDC 218s are the best performing slug by a mile. Considering my crown has the same exact twist and length 380mm 1:24 superior I get great results with it too. In 25 1:16 slug liner not quite so wonderful, they do better in the slower twist somehow. The expansion is superb always. My 1:16 .25 slug liner packs the H&N slug HP, and Zan slugs (redesigns) just as well as a superior does pellets. To be fair, I havent played with speeds and pressures with the Griffin LDC .250s so I can't say for sure. They do about 1.6MOA at 100. Where as H&N and Zan of the same weight do, reliably, one inch or just under. I stopped experimenting and tweaking when I got to the point where I'm getting pellet accuracy out of 2 slugs.
I use a Dreamline Classic, standard Superior liner, the .217s in 23gr at 871 FPS, groups pf 3 shot cloverleaf at 100m if I do my part.
