FX Hybrid slugs quality

Awesome to hear. I hate speaking in certainties as there are always outliers. But these are totally laser- point and click accurate with my 22 Superior barrels. Glad they were stable out to that speed. And yeah, they should be decent out of stock notos. I've tested them from as low as 715fps.

With those muzzle velocities I consider a .75" group at 25-30 doing well. And they did .6 or better in mine at low speeds at that distance. Really start to shine at 750fps. Sub 'Minute of squirrel head' out to 45 for sure

Love the Superior liner, since i shoot both pellets and slugs the 1:24 twist rate have been working very well for me so far, will definitely get more of these LDC instead of Hybrids when they're running low, very accurate and super clean slugs, and the tin is my preference over those plastic tray from Hybrid as well. 😁

Still waiting for the Varmint Knockers to give those a try.

I call them my curiously lethal Altoid, the tin, and all.

At 100 with the superior it was pointless. The lighter slugs that were actually 250 shot like crap. If I shot 1.5 or better at 100 with hybrids it was luck. Fast or slow. My barrel did not like them. 25.3/4-30gr pellets shot like God himself guided them into the same hole. 30gr h&n slug shot just as well through the superior as did the 26gr hybrids.

I am pellet accurate with several slugs using the new slug liner. Yesterday I discovered that Teds video results with SLUG-A (same twist speed as this barrel in .25) and Hades were no fluke. Same point of impact Windage wise, and since I'm launching the 30s at 890 now, the Hades were flying about 920 and just not varying from point of aim being point of impact. It was beautiful. The H&N HP 30gr, 32gr, zan 30 and 33, Griffin Hollow tail hollow point 30 just ride the damn stadia and land exactly where the ballistics app say they should at the chronod speed.

I cleaned barrel and got some vk 34 gr, some HP 2 30gr .250, NSA33.5, JaV 32, and shot 2 hybrids on paper View attachment 508428after leading the barrel into the dirt. I gave up. Bottom left target. Top (edit) LEFT dot.. 2 hybrids. NOPE. skip, HN HP 30 skip, zan 30, skip NSA, Javelin, 2nd row, HP II 30, 3rd row VK34, HP32
I don't know if this is relevant to you, I did A LOT of playing around this week and the last. I spent all day yesterday and last night playing with different hammer, different pressures getting a velocity at 120 bar, then 130 bar and 140 bar. Every single time. I ended up in the same little tiny groove being absolute peak performance. Accuracy, efficiency, noise, everything. I just went long range at an actual range. This 131-133 bar notch, the tiniest ping and spoot, 912-917fps, and already good groups at 120. Tightened more. AT 100 .69MOA is my best. HP slugs at 30gr edged out zan, vk, and HP 2 30s by a little. But none were reject bad
In fact they were all MOA neighborhood. I shot 6 5 shot groups of each. My worst with HP was 1.233" my best .6876 average was at .8369" nothing was worse than. 1.5"(including the flier). I'm thrilled.

Sounds like yours is good enough to take down any pests at those distance ;)
