So, looking for opinions on the FX Impact as a Field Target air rifle. I always hear magazine fed air guns do't do so great in FT but people are wining with multi shot air guns so why is it I always hear a person needs a single shot airgun? I mean to send it to Allen Z. for a bit of work (if I get one) on it, mostly just have him dial it in for under 12 ft pounds and set my scope and find the right pellet. Maybe have him make a new but pad and put a MEC free position on it, something like that that I can't do. I have a few AR hand grips already I like a lot so that's attractive plus it all fits in a compact case and on a .177 @12 ft pounds it's gotta have 200 shots or more in it. Plus I can purchase an extra cylinder or two and never have to take a tank with me to shoot. And......I can change calibers...What's not to like? So, anyone out there shooting an FX Impact in FT and wants to let me know how it is? I was told that I would be looking at 1/2" at 50 yds on anything AZ does to a rifle for me and Ted won 2016 Airguns of Arizona with one, right? Thanks for any input you folks can provide.
