Yes you can. I do the same thing on full day hunts myself just in case .

I currently charge it on the gun lol then remove it and charge the next one. Maybe someday i will make a fancy lil adapter but for now it works great haha.

Yes. The bottles have their own valve to hold air when not connected so you can swap them out in the field.

To go in a different direction with this thread, does anyone know if there is a way to empty the Impact bottle without attaching to the rifle? Maybe some type of tool that would screw in and open up the valve?

Did you get the bottle emptied?

Take the bottle adaptor off the gun and screw it into the bottle.
