FX Impact Canadian Specs

http://www.fxairguns.com/rifle/impact/ It states that they have the .177 caliber but nothing more, not amount of pellets the magasin takes, not how many shots estimated per fill etc.

The impression I've gotten when talking to 3 different dealers 2 Swedish and 1 Norwegian is that they just dont have the time or capacity to develop/make them yet cause their main focus market is USA, and they dont realy care for the .177
I have allready orderd one... but they did not give me a estimated time when I would get it, so I think when the dust have settled and the biggest demands are deliverd they will focus on the .177

This is mostly speculations from my side out of the information I have been able to get from the dealers that have some contact with FX.

And its Aftica (another f*** thing I cant afford) :D

"scrane"
"fe7565"Is there a fixed shroud? With a threaded end or with baffles built inside the shroud? Stackable?
In Canada, ANY device that suppresses the report is illegal. This, I believe, includes any device, removable or not, from the manufacturer.
Yes, I would have been surprised if that's the case. I experienced that first hand while working there. I had to get a firearms permit (took 6 months) for my air rifles. I had a Daystate Airwolf MVT, same as the MCT except the added chronograph, and I was told by a dealer that the MCTs were allowed to be imported only without their shrouds...bare barrel only. After providing some research material to the Ontario RCMP SFSS folks about the Airwolf MVT's design mine was the first and probably the only one entered/registered in the system with the shroud (and chrono-stripper inside).

Aso a word of caution when traveling trough Canada from US- Alaska, etc. Declare your air rifles over 500fps at the Canadian side of the border. They are considered firearms. Canada does not play around, you get jail and court appearance. Many forget to declare real firearms when coming back from Alaska driving across Canada.

"GQ"What do you think of this guys.
The FX Impact barrel for the Canadian Specs will be 19.5 inches for the .177 and .22 cal and 23 inches for the .25 and 30 cal.
And non telescopic shroud.
I could see the longer barrells getting the energy levels up on the larger calibers.
With a fixed shroud the impact should still be a lot more compaact than the FX 400[which is fairly short for a rifle]
As far as shrouding it seems to vary some fx have it some don't up here.
They were expecting June delivery..kelly

"pbguns"
"AZBOBCAT"So they are concentrating on the US market and we still can't get guns parts or mags. Are they whittling these guns by hand with a file LOL

Anyone have a ballpark of how many impacts have been sent out yet?
No kidding on the wait time..... huge joke (unless you paid for one and are waiting).
The shroud thing seems to have changed, you can get the Marauder ,the Air Arms ,some of the FX line and I have heard Daystate in 2016 as well as Weihrauch HW 100 FSB, no baffles just the empty shroud..kelly
