Been looking at these two PCP air rifle and I’m trying to figure out what is the difference between the two of them

The safety is in a better location for the Impact. It all depends on how much you plan on tuning it. I decided on a Maverick because its more than enough for my needs.
You find plenty of online tuning support for the Maverick, but you will find far more shared tunes for the Impact.
Did I want an Impact, hell yeah

Its more about you then the rifle when you learn about both of them.

I have an M3 in 600mm 2 and a Maverick in 500.
I cannot think of one thing that the M3 Compact would do that would warrant an upgrade for me.
I agree with Florida_Man on the location of the safety, however, the safety on the M3 functions backwards. Just saying.
I agree with HogKiller on the ease of tuning. The M3 is an easier. Once I have my Maverick tuned it has never varied from the tune.
I have both 25 & 22 compact barrels for my Maverick and enjoy both of them. They are easy to change out and I have the tunes for each recorded so that I can return to them with ease.
The dollar difference in cost can pay for a lot of pellets.

Just to add to the above: The M3 has a completely useless first regulator that you will have to spend even more money to remove
