I have thought about this too, but I guess it all depends on what you are doing with it, to me I guess it would be just as advantageous to just get a spare bottle and swap it out when needed .... other than the cool factor as far as looks go ....I'm not seeing it. but hey that's just me.

I use a dual bottle setup in conjunction with the sideshot high capacity mags. I find that the dual bottle adds weight, and really not necessary for hunting, however I love it on the bench, so much in fact that I'm considering getting another stock for my Crown that i can modify to accept the adapter.

Personally, I wouldn't want to lug around the extra weight of dual bottles. However, for certain kinds of hunting with a .30 cal. Impact, I can see the utility of dual bottles. But for target shooting, tethering is the way to go.

I use the dual bottle on a .30 700mm bbl with high cap magazine and love it. Yes it is heavy but I use it for ground squirrel and don't walk around much. I find a nice hide and get busy.
For walking around I bought another Impact in 25 and installed a hi cap magazine. You can tell a definite difference in weight.

If it matters, I ordered the adapter and extra bottle. It was out of stock so I canceled because I didn't want the charge sitting on my CC for an unknown time frame. I shoot from a bench/table so I was excited about doubling the shot count. Once I gave myself time to think about it.... I decided the storage issues were not worth it for me. The double bottle setup wouldn't work on my rack and certainly wouldn't work in a gun case. Still, for my use, this would be a great addition but I can't justify the extra capacity vs my personal storage issues. It's easier for me to refill the bottle 2x as often but I have the compressor and bottles sitting within 10ft....
Still may revisit this in the spring when I start shooting 100y plus again (from the bench).

I don't get it.
Takes about 20 seconds to take the CF tank off my Impact X and put it back on.
Probably about the same amount of time it takes to change mags. (Mine is still tight)

For a bench gun shooting paper maybe...for a hiking or hunting style rifle...no. JMO.
How many shots do you need when hunting? Honestly...I think bottle guns look goofy as it is (bottles rarely flow with the guns design) add a second bottle in and you have a very unaesthetic rifle IMO...hence why they released the streamline and soon the dreamline...tubed rifles look much better at least IMO. I have 180 cc's of onboard HPA air and 53 cc's of regulated air on my air rifle, which is nearly 1/3rd the capacity of an Impact with 1 bottle...and I've never said to myself, I want a 480 cc bottle gun, let alone a 960-1000 cc bottle gun. I get 16 shots @ 60 fpe, 24 @ 55 fpe, 48 @ 40 fpe, 72 @ 28 fpe, 104 @ 18 fpe. If I need / want to shoot all day I detune the rifle, I've never used all 72 or 100 shots on my lower power tunes, nor have I had to use all 48 @ my 40 fpe tune...nor when I am set at 55 do I use all 24, nor do I use all 16 when set at 60...because I tune my rifle for what the job calls for...
If I wanted a bench gun to shoot all day I'd just tether my rifle to my tank..

I would expect that it aids in reducing between-shot dwell which might help those who shoot really fast.
