Tuning FX Impact Fill question.

Help a newbie out here. Is it normal for the fill pressure to drop a little after filling directly from a compressor?
I fill my M3 to 250 bar and after a little while it drops to say, 240. Is this a leak or due to temperature change?

If it stays at the 240bar mark it's probably due to temperature especially if the bottle was relatively low; the bottle warms up to the hand and during cooling the bar drops some. You can always fill it and once it cools down top it off.

Thanks very much. I let it sit all day and it definitely leveled off around 240. Topped it off and let it sit all night. This morning its staying on 250. So do you compensate and fill a little extra or is it better to just top it off after it cools down?

Better not to over pressure when filling your tank. I fill mine to 250 and leave it sit for 10 or 15 minutes. Then give it another shot of air to bring it back up to 250. Easy.

Because compressed air creates friction with the air, it causes the temperature to rise. Do not worry, found that the temperature rises you can cool down for a while. Then inject air again.
