Fx Impact Fix & Mods for more FPS / FPE

Today I have tested again mk1 VH and Plenum VS mk2 VH and Plenum. Since I measure it in mps here some results ...

Mk1 setup 145bar JSB heavy mk2 33.95gr ... 285ms

Mk2 setup 145bar JSB heavy mk2 33.95 gr ... 318ms

Also tomorow will test new ext plenum 45cc in 0.8mm Toray carbon wrapped Al body ... looks nice :)

Can you test the .22 calibre as well. That would be really helpful

Test was done on 160bar

Jsb redesigns ... 980fps

Mp mold slug 35grain ... 880fps

I believe I can get redesigns in over 1000fps to tighten more hamer.

So far, I believe for 500mm barrel its what can give.

That's pretty incredible for a 500mm. Nice work!

That is what it is ... max that I can get out with redesigns and 500mm barrel is around 1000fps.

Also my TP on brass inlet is quote open ... just for shuting redesigns 7.3 in lenght and 5 3 with and pellet probe is mod also. With all the mods posible I believe this is max for 500mm barel.

Much better is with .25... its much better situation in gating more power compering to .22.

By looking what edosan is doing, its even better with .30.

I've been following this thread closely and keep on seeing references to the enlarged plenum in more than one design of which both I believe are suitable. I just would like to know if anyone has a supplier whose able to be contacted to reliably purchase one. I've sent emails to the above address w no response. Thanks ahead of time. I have a mk2 impact 25 cal trying to get 36 gn slugs into the 950s.

My first email wasn't received, I had to use another account to get through to him (Michal). Also, I would think 950fps would be easily achievable with hammer weight, TP elongation, and the pellet probe mod for that. I'm getting 65FPE in .22 cal with 30gr, what mods have you done?

I havent done any yet just got the gun. So maybe just the ports which I can easily do would get me there. What is the availability or homemade options for hammer weight?

The hammer weight can be made from a piece of brass. There's a print of the hammer weight on this forum somewhere, but it was too big for my gun and needed modified. So my advice there would be to take apart the rod assembly and measure to make your own print and brass part. It is a really easy part to make with a lathe, or a drill and a file if you have the patience (use the drill like a lathe).

Here's a picture of edosan's kit that show's a good likeness of the weight you're going to need to make.

Finally made my first couple of acetyl C3 replacement bumpers. It was not a fun process, I probably burned through 7" of the 3' rod trying to mill the center perfectly! I had eventually came up with a repeatable process for getting it centered 💪

That looks too thick, 1.5 - 2mm anything in between is fine. Over that can lead to a few problems, guess you will find out ;)

And remember, is a bumper so you have tolerance (if is not perfectly centered), that been said, is very easy to make that hole just with a drill, just do not try to make the hole 3.5mm at once, do a smaller one 1.5, and then 2mm and the 3.5
